Wheels of Fortune is a fucking juggernaut. I started going to this event 10 years ago, when it was a small gathering. Just the homies basically; a great excuse to get together, shred, see old friends and test your fate in Seattle’s fucked up traffic.

Thanks so much for the socks you sent us for our 18th birthday. We can’t wait to wear them when we skate at your big party on August 20th from 6-10pm at USC’s surf house 1207 W 29th Street. We’ve skated a few miniramps in our day but never while listening to a Tony Hawk cover band.
Life hasn’t slowed down for the creators of Villa Villa Cola’s “Getting Nowhere Faster.” But during the 15 years since the it’s release, the world of non-trad skateboarding has progressed at lighting speed. Recognized far and wide as a cult classic, the video is regularly referenced by the world’s best as the inspiration behind their choice to start skating.
Friends, family and rippers all gathered at Stoner Park Plaza in Los Angeles on Sunday March 6 in support of DC Shoes’ first annual women’s skate contest. A couple days before International Women’s Day, about 15 femme skateboarders shredded three different segments in the jam with big smiles and contagious laughter.
I’ve had an amazing journey skating and I wouldn’t change finding it for anything. It’s taken me all over the country, first with Girls Riders Organization then the many contests World Cup Skateboarding and Exposure do, and traveling just to skate with friends. I love meeting new skater girls and encouraging them. I hope to stay a positive influence on the young ones, and an inspiration for all.
