The Trooper: Trixie Trujillo Steady Mommin’
Jake Phelps gave me that name and didn’t give me a chance to change it. We started the band on my birthday; they came down to see my play one of my last shows in LA with this other band I was playing with called “The Deadutantes.” It was psychobilly weirdness. The show was at the Knitting Factory. Jake and Tony were down there so we went out afterwards. We went to some hotel and thrashed this room and started talking about starting a band. We ended up calling it “Bad Shit.”
REVIEW: Olympic Skateboarding Uniforms with Marisa dal Santo
To form our opinion, we asked the most stylish person we know, skateboarder/fashionista Marisa dal Santo for some of her wisdom. Since she stopped sacrificing her body to stair counts, Marisa has been developing her super dope and extremely popular vintage clothing business, GenXtravaganza.

"Felt like an apocalypse, end of the world type stuff." Like the majority of cities in Australia, Newcastle sits on the coastline & benefits from offshore winds decreasing the accumulation of smoke.

REVIEW: Vent City Podcast #10 How to Skate While Also Being Terrified of Eating Shit
In this episode of the Vent City the authors & hosts deliberate on the trailblazing "Coping with Creeps" article. The discussion starts at about the 8:25 mark but go ahead and listen to the whole thing, this podcast is pretty legit. As someone who probably wouldn't pursue a podcast featuring dudes talking about skateboarding, originally I tuned in only because I knew Alex and Kristin were featured in an earlier episode. Since, I've became pleasantly surprised by the insightful commentary of Ryan Lay, Kyle Beachy and two guys named Ted; Schmitz and Barrow.
Fabiana 🔥Del-FUEGO🔥 is PRO!
The truth is, reaching out and grabbing Fabi is probably one of the smartest things the screaming hand has ever done. She is totally amazing, just check out this Rough Cut she was featured on last year. Go ahead and skip to the 6 minute mark to see her win the "Keyhole" to the city.
