A couple days before International Women’s Day, about 15 femme skateboarders shredded three different segments in the jam with big smiles and contagious laughter.

Lots of dudes dressed up as construction workers, because they didn’t plan a costume and really ARE construction workers. Pretty genius because they can just sleep in their clothes.
Amy Caron’s visit provided Crescent Skate Krewe a great excuse to throw an event to raise money for our bayou neighbors and get the non-traditional and queer skateboarders socializing with the traditional skate community.
Switch & Signal Skatepark in Pittsburgh (home to Assistant Editor Maya Haptas) hosted a special Women & Trans session to celebrate the release of BIGFOOT’s first issue. Since we still wear masks indoors at the park we had some jalapeños for skaters to take home and keep it spicy.
