To be considered for a scholarship, you must be a skateboarder who identifies as female or non-binary and contribute to your community. Exposure is on an on-going mission to give back, and our scholarships will reward individuals who parallel our mission. Applications will be reviewed with consideration toward financial need and academic scholarship.

Mental health is the ultimate foundation. During times of depression and anxiety, it’s much harder- often impossible- to build & maintain a positive, productive life. Without a solid base, chances are your house will eventually fall down. But it is possible to go in there and add some braces and support beams. Jack that puppy up and stabilize!
PUSHING AGAINST RACISM
A working group of skateboarding organizations has today launched a ‘Commitment to Anti-Racism in Skateboarding.’ The initiative came out of Skateistan’s Goodpush Alliance and involves organizations and individuals from across skateboarding, who seek to create an anti-racist culture in the skate community worldwide.

SPRING FLING – FDR’s First-Ever Women’s Contest!
It got wild, it got weird- it was fucking wonderful. This wasn’t just a contest, it was a renegade mission by local FDR women to take over the park for a day of music, art and skateboarding. The “Gnar Bar” was constructed on site, and the whole back flow bowl was painted with wild-ass ponies and flaming rainbows. Nine bands performed and there were over 30 artists and vendors. Women and queer/non-binary skaters from all over the country came out and shredded.
SLAM CITY JAM LADIES STREET CONTEST, 2003
Migz filmed this almost 20 years ago and Priest recently dug it out of the dusty DVAULT, and edited it into this lively slice of herstory, starring Amy Caron, Vanessa Torres, Alex White, Monica Shaw, Jesse Van Roechoudt, Lauren Mollica, Lauren Perkins, Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins and Farrah O’Brien.
