The famous “Don’t Do It” campaign challenged corporate overlords dipping a toe into the skateboard footwear market, and although they may be doing a full-on backstroke these days, CONSOLIDATED made a strong stand and influenced many a skater to stay pure, poor and to keep it hella legit!
PORTLAND MAG DROP POPPED!
With the help of Full City Coffee Rooster, a super duper sweet coffee shop in NE Portland and lots of other super fab friends, we threw a magazine drop party Sunday and it was fire!! An incredibly special opportunity to see so many familiar faces and officially introduce BIGFOOT to our hometown. Wheels of Fortune is a fucking juggernaut. I started going to this event 10 years ago, when it was a small gathering. Just the homies basically; a great excuse to get together, shred, see old friends and test your fate in Seattle’s fucked up traffic.
Alex White for Olympic Commentator Petition
As skateboarding makes its historical debut in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, we are calling for NBC Sports to hire skateboarding legend Alex White to provide commentary for the women’s broadcasts. As skateboarders, we believe that nobody is more well-equipped and deserving of this important role. Alex is a ripping skater who entered the scene at early age when female skateboarders were scarce. In following years, she proved herself as a leader in making the sport more accessible to girls and women worldwide. She has the talent, insider knowledge and perfect timing to reflect our sport in the greatest, most authentic way possible as it debuts on the world stage.
