HAVING A WHALE OF A (responsible) TIME ON ORCAS!

Despite the distressing restrictions and travel bans of the pandemic summer of 2020, it was still possible to ferry away to the skatepark wonderland on Orcas Island.

A killer crew of girls from Portland and Washington gathered together in late June (safely distanced with face masks on hand) and hopped onboard in Anacortes to float northwest through the beautiful San Juan Islands. Arrival at the Scott Stamnes skatepark kicked off a full weekend of gnar; grinds, slashes and stylin’ airs. Times like these are fewer and far between during these weird times, but the urge to keep on skating different terrain can not be stopped!
