For the second year in a row, Australian skateboarder Arisa Trew was victorious in the skateboard park and vert competitions.
For the second year in a row, Australian skateboarder Arisa Trew was victorious in the skateboard park and vert competitions.
This year’s women’s vert comp at X Games Ventura was highly anticipated, especially after last year, when Arisa Trew pulled a 720 in the final moments of the contest. Her skills won her gold in both park and vert and inspired the X Games to add a women’s best trick contest.
Queen of the Park is a yearly celebration of the awesome community of women at FDR, Philly’s world famous DIY under the I-95 overpass. This was the 4th annual event.
This year at the Ventura X Games, Monique’s lens was focused on top female skateboarders Leticia Bufoni, Margielyn Didal, Hina Maeda, Paige Heyn, Ibuki Matsumoto, Yumeka Oda, Liz Akama, and Miyu Ito. Watch these incredible athletes prepare and perfect their tricks before the big showdown!
