Sashay into any big convention and you can expect a huge room with tons of people, crazy booth displays and lines- bathroom lines, booze lines and at DragCon, makeup lines. After a 2-year hiatus, DragCon returned to the LA Convention center last weekend, and with it came 150 of the world’s most famous queens and 50,000 crazed fanatics who lost. their. shit. when RuPaul herself DJ’d the event.
I’ve always seen comparisons between drag and non-trad skateboarding. Both are special and unique communities that I’ve connected to, but beyond that, here’s some specifics. –Migz
