Queen of the Park is a yearly celebration of the awesome community of women at FDR Skatepark, Philadelphia’s world famous DIY under the I-95 overpass. This was the 4th annual event, which has become an elite stop on the yearly summer contest circuit. The event featured live bands, playing on a deck in the center of the park as skaters of all ages ripped it up in the jam-style contest. There were over 30 art and skate vendors including the first female-owned skate wheel brand, Cherries Wheels. Big thanks to all the organizers, skaters and sponsors – see you next year!  -Migz
