The Poseiden Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of young people through skateboarding in the U.S., Latin America, and beyond. They host events like skate tours, contests, and clinics, and provide essential gear to vulnerable youth through brand partnerships. Committed to breaking societal barriers, the foundation promotes female participation in skateboarding and offers inclusive programs that build confidence and self-esteem among skaters with diverse backgrounds. They also collaborate with other nonprofits and local officials to encourage community support and environmental awareness.
Monique O’Toole is the co-creator of “Quit Your Day Job” the first full-length female skateboarding video in more than a decade, released in 2017. Based in Southern California, you will see Monique behind the lens at all local competitions and events, and filming the latest in up-and-coming skaters at elite locations around the city.
